Today we’re playing with FreshFiber Sculpture Case – an app that lets you upload a JPEG image and use various effects to create a 3D design that we put on a smartphone or tablet case for you. It’s kind of like a 3D Instagram for phones and mobile devices! Upload your image, customize it and have your case cloud printed in a variety of colors.

When you load up the app, all you have to do is pick your device model and the color you want your case printed in, and then upload a picture. You can move the photo around or zoom in. Then you’ll be taken to a page where you can fine tune the way your image is made 3D.
You can turn your photo into a line drawing:
Or make your photo a black and white picture (this one’s great for logos):
Or emboss the image:
Make it just right and then click “save and order” to add it to your cart! Easy peasy.
Some photos work better than others, so you might want to play around with it a bit. Logos and pics with a lot of contrast work the best, as well as patterns and lines. Here are some we’ve had fun making:
